9 Ways To Help Kids Stick To Their New Years Resolutions

Looking for a surefire way to get your kids to stick to their New Years Resolutions? It’s all in the wording! Here’s to setting goals in 2018, checking those boxes, and being proud of their incredible accomplishments!

(1) Rather than: I’M GOING TO EXERCISE MORE.
Recommend: I am going to do 25 jumping jacks when I wake up in the morning and join the basketball team.

(2) Rather than: I’M GOING TO HELP WITH CHORES AROUND THE HOUSE.
Recommend: I am going to make my bed each day and clear the table after dinner.

(3) Rather than: I’M GOING TO EAT HEALTHIER.
Recommend: I am going to eat at least 3 vegetables per day.

(4) Rather Than: I’M GOING TO RAISE MONEY FOR A CHARITY.
Recommend: I am going to set up a lemonade stand and donate the proceeds to X Charity on X Day.
